In June 2013 Aarhus Harbor hosted The Tall Ships Races. In this context Aarhus School of Architecture arranged an urban design competition, which was won in a group of three. Small excerpts from the Danish sea faring novel Vi, de druknede, by Carsten Jensen, was placed originally around the harbor docks, buildings and machinery. The different pieces were executed in free hand drawing, stencil graffiti and engraved brass plates. Concept, design and realization by Kathrine Gramstad and Hildegunn Grønningsæter in collaboration with the Municipality of Aarhus.
